The Challenge

Why Off-the-Shelf Designs Fail in Dubai Villas

Dubai homes are unlike homes anywhere else in the world. The scale is different — a typical Emaar villa has 400 to 600 square metres of living space, and communities like Emirates Hills or Al Barari can exceed 2,000 square metres. Generic design catalogues and Pinterest mood boards simply do not translate to spaces this size. What looks elegant in a London townhouse can feel hollow and disconnected in a double-height reception room on Palm Jumeirah.

The climate adds another layer of complexity. South-facing rooms can reach punishing temperatures by mid-morning, which means material selection, window treatments and even furniture placement need to account for heat, UV exposure and glare. Marble that works beautifully in a Milan showroom may crack within two years if it is not specified for the thermal cycling that Dubai summers demand.

Then there is the question of lifestyle. Many Dubai households include extended family, live-in staff and frequent entertaining. The kitchen needs to function for a private chef, not just weekend cooking. The living spaces need to transition seamlessly from everyday family use to formal gatherings. Children's areas need to be robust yet refined. These are not considerations that a cookie-cutter design package can address — they require a designer who takes the time to understand how you actually live, and builds the interior around that reality.

What We Deliver

Our Residential Design Services

Bespoke Design

Every project begins with a deep understanding of how you live. We develop concept boards, space plans and design narratives that are unique to your home — never recycled from another project. Our designers work across contemporary, transitional, modern Arabic and classic styles, always grounded in functionality.

3D Visualisation

Before any material is ordered or wall is touched, you see your home in photorealistic 3D renders. We model every room with accurate lighting, textures and furniture placement so you can walk through the design virtually and make confident decisions. Revisions are included until you are completely happy.

Material Sourcing

Our procurement team sources stone, timber, fabrics, tiles and hardware direct from manufacturers in Italy, Spain, Turkey and across the UAE. Direct sourcing means better pricing, verified quality and full traceability. We present physical samples of every material before ordering.

Project Management

A dedicated project manager oversees your interior from design approval through to handover. You receive weekly WhatsApp progress updates, have a single point of contact for all queries, and never need to chase sub-contractors. Milestone-based payments keep everything transparent.

Furniture Selection

We curate furniture from leading European and local manufacturers, selecting pieces that suit your design, your lifestyle and your budget. Whether it is a statement Italian sofa or a custom-built dining table, every piece is chosen with purpose and sourced without retail markups.

Lighting Design

Lighting transforms a room more than any other single element. We design layered lighting schemes — ambient, task and accent — that adapt to how each space is used throughout the day. From concealed LED profiles to statement chandeliers, every fixture is specified, sourced and installed by our team.

Common Questions

Residential Interior Design FAQ

How long does a residential interior design project take in Dubai?

A single room typically takes 4 to 6 weeks from concept approval to installation. A full villa interior design project usually takes 3 to 6 months, depending on the scope, material lead times and any custom manufacturing required. We provide a detailed timeline during the design phase so you know exactly what to expect.

Do you work with existing furniture or only supply new pieces?

We are happy to work with your existing furniture and integrate it into the new design. Many clients have pieces with sentimental value or high-quality items that simply need reupholstering or repositioning. During the initial consultation, we assess what works and what needs replacing.

Can I see 3D renders before committing to the design?

Absolutely. Every residential project includes photorealistic 3D visualisations as part of the design phase. You will see exactly how your space will look — including materials, lighting and furniture placement — before any work begins. We make revisions until you are completely satisfied.

What areas of Dubai do you cover for residential interiors?

We work across all of Dubai's residential communities, including Palm Jumeirah, Emirates Hills, Arabian Ranches, Dubai Hills Estate, Al Barari, Tilal Al Ghaf, Jumeirah Golf Estates, Mohammed Bin Rashid City and Downtown Dubai. We also take on projects in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah for larger scopes.

How do payments work for residential interior design?

We use a milestone-based payment structure. Typically this is 30% upon design approval, 40% at the midpoint of installation, and 30% upon project completion and handover. For larger projects, we can arrange additional milestones. All payment terms are agreed in writing before any work begins.
