Why Most Kitchen Renovations Go Wrong

The Dubai market is flooded with kitchen companies offering "Italian design" that turns out to be locally fabricated with cheap hinges and thin MDF. The countertop is sold at a unit rate, but the edge profile, cutouts and undermount sink cost extra. The quote says AED 40,000 but the final invoice is AED 70,000.

Then there is the coordination problem. The kitchen company builds the cabinets, but someone else handles plumbing, someone else does the electrical, and the flooring contractor needs to come in before the base units can be installed. Three companies on site, nobody in charge.

All base units use moisture-resistant MDF or marine-grade plywood. Sink areas receive additional waterproofing. Soft-close Blum or Hettich hardware is standard on every door and drawer.

From Design to Dinner

Measure & Design

Precision site survey, 3D design with material selections, and a fully itemised quotation. You approve everything before we begin.

Demolition & MEP

Strip out the old kitchen, relocate plumbing and electrical points to the new layout, waterproof the floor and prepare surfaces.

Fabrication & Install

Joinery fabricated in our workshop, countertops templated and cut, units installed and appliances connected. Quality checked at every stage.

Handover

Final inspection, snagging, deep clean and handover with warranty certificate. Your kitchen is ready to use.

Kitchen Renovation FAQ

A typical kitchen renovation takes 4 to 8 weeks. A cosmetic refresh with new countertops, splashback and painting can be completed in 3-4 weeks. A full renovation with custom joinery, new flooring, plumbing relocation and appliance integration requires 6-8 weeks. We provide a precise timeline based on your specific scope during the quotation stage.
We work with a full range of premium surfaces including natural marble, granite, quartzite, engineered quartz (Caesarstone, Silestone, Cambria), Dekton, and Corian solid surface. Each has different characteristics for heat resistance, stain resistance and maintenance. We help you choose the right material based on your cooking habits, aesthetic preferences and budget during the design consultation.
If your existing cabinet boxes are structurally sound, we can replace just the doors and drawer fronts to achieve a completely new look at a lower cost. We can colour-match to existing finishes or create a deliberate contrast. However, if the carcasses are damaged, warped or poorly constructed, we recommend full replacement for longevity and quality.
Yes. We supply and install all major kitchen appliances from brands including Bosch, Siemens, Miele, Smeg, and Gaggenau. Our joinery is designed around your chosen appliances for seamless integration. We also handle gas connections, electrical points and ventilation ducting as part of the installation.
During a full kitchen renovation, the kitchen will be completely out of service for the duration of the build. We recommend setting up a temporary kitchen area with a microwave, kettle and basic supplies in another room. For partial renovations such as countertop replacement only, there may be only 2-3 days of downtime. We always aim to minimise disruption and complete work as efficiently as possible.
Yes. Our in-house plumbers and electricians handle all MEP works as part of the kitchen renovation. This includes relocating water supply and drainage points, adding or moving electrical outlets, installing under-cabinet LED lighting, connecting dishwashers and waste disposal units, and upgrading circuit breakers if required. All work is completed to DEWA standards and regulations.
